OUR
MISSION:
Nonprofit organization offering music education & mentoring to at-risk and financially-disadvantaged teens in Forsyth County GA.
Music4CHIEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit music education program in Forsyth County, Ga., serving financially-disadvantaged and at-risk middle and high school students. Music4CHIEF recognizes the importance of music education as a positive influence in the lives of kids. Through the program, teens benefit from tuition-paid music instruction and music camps, healthy relationships with mentors & peers, and an opportunity to build confidence through performances, leadership positions and internships.
Music4CHIEF works closely with local schools, counselors, the foster care system, teen outreach programs, and local families, to reach teens who may benefit from the positive power of music. As a community we can make a difference!

While listening to music may provide some of these benefits, those who actually play an instrument engage all parts of the brain – a full brain workout!
Music4CHIEF is not only hoping for emotional and educational improvement, we also want to see teenagers find a place to belong and be proud of themselves. We place students in music programs that provide:
quality music instruction
a caring network of peers to perform with and who are supportive as students grow in confidence and ability
trusting relationships with mentors who want to see them succeed in life
